About us
The main focus of MECOMO AG is the development of location related content and solutions (special field: Location Based Services) for businesses and private customers.
Our business division Content markets "Points-of-Interest" for Germany, Austria and Switzerland in addition to selected subjects for Europe. Our own research centre safeguards the quality of our content.
Our business division Tracking develops solutions for object-and personal tracking, e.g. our product family MECOMO FLEET (B2B) and MECOMO TRACK (B2C). International marketing takes place through a distribution and sales network.
MECOMO AG provides its data management and development competence for international business environments such as: telecommunication, navigation, industry, banking or media who want to increase their added value by tracking, map technology, location related data and mobile search.
The technical base for our location related solutions is the nLP Location Platform, a modular and flexible architecture which is marketed to external system vendors.
As one of the leading enterprises for tracking solutions in Europe, MECOMO is cofounder of the initiative 'Open Location Alliance Europe' which provides Pan-European cell-ID location, location related applications, POI and "Mobile Search" from one single source.
Locations of MECOMO AG are Munich and Porto Alegre (Brazil).
